Bhutan Royal Wedding







There was another royal wedding which involved a monarch marrying a commoner, yet this time it took place in the Himalayan country of Bhutan.  Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck, or the "Dragon King", married Jetsun Pema in October.  I love their colorful clothes and she is absolutely stunning.  The celebration lasted for three days and was very bright and cheerful too.  Although the simplicity of Western weddings is lovely too, these lively costumes are a wonderful change of pace.
